There are posts on TBN about grass buildup under the mower, adjustment and cut quality issues, but I have no problems with any of those issues.
What I would like to know if there is a solution for is the grass that winds up everywhere, bunched up on top of the deck, on the operator floor mat, and jammed up underneath wherever it can find a place to get jammed.
I just did my start of season filter and fluid change, and did a thorough power wash and underneath cleaning to start off the summer.
And the first cut of the year leaves it covered in grass again!
I have the RCK54P23BX with the stock blades, I do not have the factory mulch kit installed. I have a home made OCDC that I leave in the down position most of the time.
Even with the chute covered, the deck puts out a strong stream of air several feet from the deck. I would think that would carry the grass away from the tractor?
Probably "just the way it is" but I figured I was worth bringing it up in case someone has a solution.
