RE: Grimreaper
The first machine was a "Used Lease Return", which basically, I paid $8,500.00 cash for. First it had repeated problems which I thought might have been due to the previous owners abuse of it.
Then, one day, they picked it up and did not properly secure it, the driver, from what I was told had to do a panic stop. The tractor flew off the trailer and bent the frame, smashed all the Plastic etc. and they did not bother to call me and inform me.
2 weeks went by, I finally called to check on my machine, this is when they notified me that it was demolished, but said their "almost done repairing it".
I went down the next morning, they said it was done and ready. When I got there, they expected me to take it with all the broken plastic.
They only gave me a 90 day warranty on this machine, which was due to expire in a few days, so I asked them:
Will you all extend the warranty for at least a week or 2? Since it sustained so much damage I felt this was the least they could do. Verbally, I was told they would take care of anything, but I did not trust them. I wanted something in writing, I also asked if they claimed this on their insuarance?
they said no.
This left me no outlet, so I figured a new machine would be the best way to go, he already had a wholesaler willing to pay "my full purchase price for the machine" so they allowed a full value trade in on the new machine.
But then he also stated, you have to take the machine I pick out, "not my choice" hmmmmmn, now I wonder,,,,,,,,,
At this point I was pretty desperate to clear up the whole matter, so I said: as long as its a new machine, I dont see why not.
