Sharp looking, but if use that means more seat time for mowing.

Nice look'n piece of equipment. You can always throw some sand in there,or sand and salt to spread if things get to bad before spring.A friend of mine has a spreader and everytime he gets done a job he rinses it off and sprays it down w/WD40 , he keeps it in his barn so the WD40 stays attached until the next time it goes back in service

Thanks guys... I love to look at posted pics... so I try to post 'em too.

Thomas,
... regarding seat time cut grass... THAT can be done in short sleeves :D ... so I don't mind a little seat time in the summer months. :)

Mike,
I thought about the other uses for the spreader too. I don't have a huge driveway and it's pretty flat. So other than the occasional need on my sidewalk, I usually move the snow and call it good. Your buddy is smart keeping it clean. Spreaders corrode in a hurry when not cleaned up... fertilizer will corrode a machine in a heart beat unless cleaned every time. I found this out with an old spreader in the first year or two of use :) .

Rob,
I'll be back inside shortly to reply... heading out to my garage to finish taking my blower off, just for YOU... :D

Shawk,

Looking good! :) I especially like the title of the post, but you already know my sentiments on winter and how I would rather be golfing! BTW, it's supposed to get into the 60s on Thursday, so you know what I'll be doing. Unfortunately the courses are all going to temporary greens now, so the score won't mean anything.

Shawk, from here it seems like you're having WAY too much fun with your 2520 to part with it. Maybe you should consider blowing snow and spreading fertilizer w/ the 2520 and mowing with the 2210.

Was one of you motivations w/ getting the 2210 avoiding the yard damage issues w/ the 64D front guide wheels?

Nice pics.

Thanks JDF... I just checked the 10 day forecast and while we won't see 60's (WOW!). It looks like we'll have a steady dose of 40's (no snow forecasted at all). I'm gearing up for my busy time so I'm hoping that it'll get bitter cold soon.... so when I look out my window, I'll know there's nothing out there for me (golf) :D . Have fun sneaking out this week... :)

Thanks Mike... It has been fun! Tinkering outside with a machine always makes a job more fun (as you know) :). The mower deck had/has nothing to do with me swapping or not. In fact as far as the machines go. The 2520 is every bit as gentle on my lawn as my 2210 was. Both decks cut grass excellent and it sounds like JD has a fix for 62D owners. (Shhhh, don't tell... but I'm once again without a 2210 :D ). Believe it or not... I'm a very stable person, until I see green (My wife would agree with part or all of that, I believe) :D . Long story behind it... :)

Great looking setup ! How about sending a little snow our way in North Carolina. Where I live, We had the warmest December on record and January is starting off the same. I want to break in my new 2305 and see what it can do.
