Real reason why ZTR\'s are big sellers now??
This comes right from the top, copied from Lawn and Garden pages of, "Hometown Neighbors," magazine courtesy of ARA:
"So why all the fuss (about ZTR's)? Of course there is the tremendous time savings. But beyond the labor savings, there's another big attraction. 'It comes down to the fact that zero-turn-radius mowers are just a lot of fun to drive,' says Dan Lamb, brand manager for Cub Cadet, the largest manufacturer of zero-turn-radius mowers in the US. 'The superb manuverability of these units, along with the speed, turns a routine lawn chore into fun and enjoyment.'"
Who would have thought it's all for fun?? It's the EXACT same raason riding lawn mowers became big 45+ years ago- the industry has just been too slow with innovations /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
