Have only had my 4310 less than two weeks and 12 hrs of seat time but would like to make these observations. The 4310/430/60"mmm is a legitamate working machine. I was really surprised at the ease of the mmm walking through the knee high pasture type mowing I did on my upper piece of acreage-gave a park like mow job-couldn't be happier. The 430 fel has been a blessing and great relief to the back-couldn't be happier. Did some heavy fel work yesterday pushing over some "small" dead trees and shoved them out to the edge for later work. Noticed a larger dead tree that the top had broken out of and probably 18" diameter and 30' tall. Decided what the heck, let's see what we can do-got the proper angle on the way it wanted to go and go it did. Root base rot helped but after lifting and moving it out of the hole the tractor lifted and moved this tree without much struggle. Every owner seems amazed at the power of the 4310 and now you can add me to the list-this tree would not have been any easier with a strong skid loader with which I have plenty of experience. Somewhere I even picked up a couple of scratches on the top and side of the hood so she's not new anymore. Buyer's remorse is over, I love this machine and it's worth the money.

Sounds like another satisfied customer ! Congrats on a great machine - but be careful with those trees, especially the dead ones. I'd like something along the line of the 4210/4310 myself - like to find a machine a couple of years old with minimal use though. That's about the only way I could afford one. Probably like hunting a needle in a haystack.

They are tough "little" monsters, aren't they. Every time I use it I'm still amazed at the power available from the hydraulics, Enjoy your new machine and keep the great stories coming. I'll be posting before and after pics soon of my lanscaping project... haha, earth moving is more like it.

Take Care,

Like impossibe! I really can't see how you can beat new... Get dealers to bid on a package in their off season, figure in low interest financing, and its almost impossible to beat the deals with used. I saved ~4K that way and even then, the dealer said he had a similar 2 year old tractor on his lot that was HIGHER than the new one he'd just quoted me.

Dealers have quotas to meet, one will certainly want the business.

Ain't it the truth. My 4310 arrived last Tuesday morning, and I've already got 18.5 hours on it.

My only regret........................didn't order the BH. Went back and forth on it till I drove the wife crazy. Ain't it amazing how hind sight is always 20-20.

One more regret, that I didn't pull the trigger on this purchase 3 1/2 ago when we bought this place. Once again..hind sight

iF YOU REALLY WANT THE HOE, IT PROBABLY ISN'T TOO LATE TO ADD IT. I upgraded my loader and they held my contract for two months till it got settled...
