Reality check when mowing

I know the feeling, mine is sort of like depression when my Kubota BX23 wont cut it, and the neighbor gets out her 25.00 push mower to finish where the bota wont go.........But then she looks great so I dont mind watching. Now that she is getting a Cub (grrrrrr) I wont be doing her lawn anymore (really grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr)

your wh must mow a lot better than the one i have: the only thing i run into using the tractor to mow with the 54 inch belly mower, is it won't mow close enough to the ground in areas i want to scalp, plus i mow a ditch line, and the mower is to wide to get in there, so i jump on the 26 inch cut snapper.

I've been known to (read that as "I regularly do... ") back the sharp edge of my rear discharge RFM into the tree hard enough to pinch off any vines/tall grass/new tree shoots that are taller than I prefer.... all just to avoid having to haul something else out just to get that little bit.

All of my trees have bulges on the trunk about 3 inches off the ground from constantly healing wounds where I occassionally get too aggressive with this tactic.
