No reserve auctions often have a steep slope in prices near the end of the auction. So seeing something languishing with low bids for a week, then jumping by 2x or 3x or more in the last few hours (or seconds) is not unexpected.
A while ago I was looking for Toro lawnmowers on E-Bay. I saw photos that looked real familiar, so I tracked down the original ad and sent the original seller a note. Sure enough someone was trying to run a scam.
And, if you are a legit seller that bought something then are trying to resell it, take your own photos.
Some sellers list "Free Shipping, Local Pickup Only".
