:welcome:Metalmen1 from Québec!
Your decision to go with Massey is certainly good! You will find that Massey tend to have a superior fit and finish over the competition. Ergonomics are real good as well. I agree that for the size of your property, and the type of work to be done, upgrading to bigger and heavyer may not do yourself such a big favour. The general consensus is gigger is better, and we are all a bit biased this way, including myself.
As for questioning yourself about lifting capacities, you need to compare apples with apples. For loader capacity, I would look at breakout force, and at cycle times. Loader efficiency is much regulated by those. Dump and curl angles are next.
As for the three point, draft control is important if you use any type of inground engagement. If it is a category one, then it should lift anything the tractor is designed to handle. Details like the number of rear remotes, and linkage adjustments should prevail wen making comparisons. Sheet Metal thickness, castings used where stength is needed will all show up in a well designed and durable tractor.
Best of luck with your purchase/acquisition, and send in the pictures as soon as possible, for the enjoyment of us all!:cool2:!
