Hello folks,

I wanted to promote a cover I bought from Amazon for my Mahindra 3316HST. The cover should fit most of our SCUTs and it's made real well. I'm very impressed with the quality of the material as well as attention to details. There are three straps that I'm not using due to the snug fit of the cover but they're quite nice if needed. I think there are two layers of material the lower layer "feels" like PVC while the outer layer is what I Think an UV rated layer but not sure exactly.

I'll upload pics shortly.

Wonder what others will say but when I cover things, moisture seems to get trapped under the tarp. I have enough problems with mice that I have to leave the hood up or else mice will make a nest on top of my engine.

Probably doesn't have humidity issues in the desert at 6k feet ASL;)

Sun/UV is probably the enemy of his tractor.

I do have a mice problem as they tend to build nests using dog poop and cacti  As stated already, the UV at my house is quite lethal. I'm at 7,000' elevation. Anything composite will be discolored, fogged over and hood paints will be gone in short order. Additionally, I like keeping snow off the tractor as much possible so when I do go to use it, the pedals move freely.

I do something similar with a standard tarp, just to keep the moving parts from getting snow and rain. I run it between the loader arms and engine, up over the loader controls and down along the fenders.

I've done that since 2011 when I acquired the tractor but now I'm moving up in the world! The tarps were degrading annually due to our strong sun at 7,000' and the winds didn't help matters any.
