I had to retire my my 25 year old Honda lawn mower. I bought a new Toro lawn mower. My wife mows the lawn and right away she points out the new Toro does not have a blade brake so you have to restart the engine every time you change bags, it is front wheel drive and when the bag gets full the front wheel traction is less and the biggest complaint is it does not pick the pine needles very well. She wants me to fix the old Honda. The only thing wrong is the valve guides and the valve stems are worn and it smokes very bad till it warms up. I can get new valve guides and valves and I can press in the new guides in but what do you use to align the reamer to ream the valve guide? Everything I have is for much larger valves and guides.

on small engines , you just do it by hand ( slowly) ... after a short distance, they self center ( as long as you don't try to take too much out at a time ) .... even for the short wobble at the start, it really doesn't matter too much ....

or if you have a big drill press, to hold the reamer straight ... ( still turn chuck by hand )
