I'm thinking it would be really slick to be able to use attachments front or rear and all use the skid steer QA style. For example being able to use QA forks or a snow blade front or rear would be handy. I have only been able to find two companies that make these:

QA_CAT1_3PT_TO_SS

Change your 3 point hitch to universal quick attach

Anyone have any experience with using a QA adapter for the rear 3 point? Pros / cons? Also, any other source for the adapters?

Interesting, I've only seen this done the other way, as in the ability to run 3pt attachments on the loader.

Those are the only 2 I think I have seen. I think a hydraulic top link would be handy to use with it. I think it would be handy. I have thought about building a conversion but have not had the time to.

Interesting idea..... It would make sense to have/make an adapter like the everything attachments one......
It would make attachments useable on the SS and front or back of tractor. Cut down on the number of attachments you have to make/purchase.

Good luck

I am not mistaken, both of the linked adapters accomplish the same thing correct? What really made me look into this is I will be purchasing adjustable QA forks for the front, and it would be ideal to be able to use them on the rear. I would prefer adjustable forks on the rear vs a cheesy carry all for picking up skids of fire wood. I have seen other members on here with similar setups and they mounted different attachments, one guy even had his bucket on the rear for carrying things. I agree, a hydraulic top link would be very nice with this setup.

One of the best attachments to put on a 3-point?

4in1 bucket with hydraulic top link! To me that would be a handy attachment to have on the back. Many uses

Forks would work well.

However, be careful using ground engaging attachments: those built for skid steers are designed to be used going forward. When put on a 3pt, they would be used going backward, which puts the tractor at risk. A tractor's 3pt has it's strength when going forward (pulling), not pushing. Pushing too hard with the 3pt can cause damage. I definitely would not put a 4n1 bucket on the back of a tractor.

With a 4in1 they are used to clamp and back drag a lot. Watch some videos on them and watch them back drag. Every skidloader we have had has a 4in1 cause they are so handy

Interesting point on using a 3 point to push. Do guys on here run into issues using their 3 point to push snow?

Yep... there's a number of stories here (including my own) regarding bending and/or breaking the vertical linkage on the 3pt arms when using a rear blade (box blade, etc.) to push material while backing up.

The adjustment arms are the first things to be damaged -- if you really get serious - you can break the lower lift arms, the sway links and if you're really unlucky - the rear attachment point on the rear axle housing! That's the point where the damage to your tractor and your checkbook can be....
