Hi, I have a Kubota B7100D, the model of which was the first 4-wheel garden tractor built. The old hubs were wore out so I purchased new. The new ones are of a much improved design, but If I install them with the furnised hardware, the stud threads are recessed in the nut (2) threads, it certainly does not look correct. The old hubs had a set screw to tighten the "hex on the axle and were steel. The new ones are brass with a wedge type assembly for the axel lock. Not sure if the flatwasher is a spacer to prevent the hub from cracking or a normal installation of flat, lock, and nut.
Regardless, the studs are only long enough to attach the lug nut as was on the original hub. Help!
Thanks, cjdiehl
