Backhoe rear backhoe throttle control mod Mt122 /mt125 backhoe

With the Mt 122 being so small I can easily reach the steering wheel while at the reverse backhoe position. I thought I could get more done if I could reach the hydrostatic peddles.

Turns out the 2 peddles each link to a single push pull Control so I threw together some very quick linkage and it works great.

I can use my backhoe and thumb to move things around and easily make small adjustments while digging without moving the seat around.

Leave it in Neutral with the brake off. Use the outriggers and FEL as a brake. Raise all three a few inches and use the BH bucket to push or pull you.

That works pretty good for trenching but this let's me empty my bucket further than 6 feet away from my dig easily. Also I was able to move some logs around the yard using the hoe /thumb as a sort of grapple alternative.
