Snow Attachments Rear Blade for Snow Plowing

I think there was a thread on here last year where some-one broke the casting (on a new tractor) where the top link attaches.This done by "pushing" with the three point.
I find with my medium duty rear blade along with the front blade,that I can do a very good job on snow removal.If you keep up with the snow-fall a rear blade alone will do a fine job,pulling forward.

Well I'm certainly glad I asked this question. Somewhere on Youtube I had seen a video plowing in reverse with a rear blade and it seemed like a good idea when I saw it. Enough replies here have thinking otherwise.

I think I may still purchase the rear blade and use it in a forward pulling method. Probably as suggested using the rear blade in combination with the FEL will be the best way to go. I like the idea of changing out the steel edge on the blade to heavy rubber.

I was looking for an excuse to buy an attachment anyhow . Rear blade is one way to start.

This thread has given me a lot to think about as well. I also imagined using it in reverse. I just bought a HD 7 foot rear blade on Craigslist for $150 in good shape. I guess I'll just try it both ways.
