Rear Blade ID Please

Just wondering if any of you can ID this rear blade.

I am going to take a look at it monday so this is the only photo.

I have been looking for a good HD 7' blade and came across this one. He says it is a woods and that it is heavy duty:thumbsup:

Just looking for conformation thats all. And possibly a model #. It really doesnt look like there newer models.

That looks like my Woods RB700. I've got one on my John Deere 2020 and I love it.

If you get it, check the cutting blade for straightness, you may want to unbolt it and flip it over to get a nice fresh, straight edge.

The one I got was torqued by the previous owner. The housing that goes down from the big circle and grabs the back of the blade was all bent up and cracked. I cut the whole thing apart, straightened out all the pieces and welded it back together. I also added pivot and offset cylinders to allow on-the-fly adjustments.

Nice blade. The manual is still available for download online.

It says ~470lbs:thumbsup: Thats about 200lbs heavier than my current 6' blade:thumbsup: Exactally what I am looking for, And I think it is worth his asking price, but I havent actually seen it yet.

Do you happen to know offhand what the thickness of the moldboard is?? My current one is either 1/4 or 5/16, and the last "light duty" 7 footer I had was only 1/4" edge and only weighed ~300lbs. I figured I'd sell it before I twisted it like a pretzle.:laughing:
