In the past, I always parked (that is, detached) my rear blade with the concave side of the moldboard toward the rear of the tractor. However, I found that my new Woods RB72 with parking stand and skid shoes was a little tippy when it was detached from the tractor, with the concave side toward the tractor. Quite by chance, I detached the RB the other day with the concave side facing away from the rear of the tractor, and found that the RB was now very stable. I don't know if this will apply to any other RBs, or to RBs w/o skid shoes, but I thought that I would share it.
