Rear blade won\'t drop

I have a new BX-15 with FEL and Rear Blade. I was reading the manual and folllowed the instructions to get the belly arms for the mower deck into the "up" position. Now the rear blade will not drop to a working position. Is this typical or is something fritzed up?. If I reset the arms down, the blade drops back down. It seems kind of dumb to have to have the belly arms hanging down(possibly in the way) when using the rear blade.

Thanks
Mike

Try raising the 3 pt all the way to the up position, turn height adjustment knob to the top position to hold the arms up. See if the rear 3 pt will lower now. Hope this helps.

I don't know, but is there a way to "pin" the deck in the "up" position? Some brands have that provision and you raise the deck, pin it into place, then you can use the rear hydraulics and the deck stays up.
