Made a rear hitch adapter for moving the trailer with the PT 425.
Should make driving forward with the trailer much easer.

It also works for mounting the weight bar if I need it.
Can hold 400 lbs on the weight bar.
Doubt I will ever need or want that much weight in back.

Nice job! Maybe I will do that with mine someday.

Nice, now get to work on a 3pt hitch, and make extras to sell once you get it right.

Plan to sell all my 3pt hitch stuff now that I have the PT425. Need to also sell the other tractors.

I went the opposite route and welded a 2" receiver to my spare QA plate. I use that to move my car hauler, boat trailer and log splitter around the place. Works great.

The things I do tow behind our PT425 are a lawn sweeper, Rubbermaid cart, sprayer, dethatcher, and plug aerator. They all have pins that drop through the stock PT hitch. I would like to weld a couple more single hitch tabs onto the rear of the PT on each rear corner. That way I could tow my sweeper offset to one side about a foot. And if I ever need to mow really large areas in the future, I could get an offset 60" pull-behind mower deck or two and do 14'6" passes! :)

I also have a front hitch I made but pushing the trailer with a load gets old. I have to get through three gates. My skills are getting better but I am much better pulling it behind. Then I switch to the front hitch to lift and dump. That least that is still my plan.

Ahh. I get it. I don't push anything through gates either, unless it's the mower deck.
