Rear remote valves CK3510

I talked to my dealer about getting 2 sets of rear remotes for my 3510 and he wants to know what type of valve I want. I plan on having a top and tilt setup so he recommended 2 springs.

I understand the difference in the way the valves work but what would be better? If I ever needed it to flow constantly I guess I could just use a bungee.

Any recommendations?

Your dealer sounds like he knows less about it than you do. You certainly don't want motor or log splitter valves. :laughing: You want to operate the valve(s) and have them return to center and the cylinders stay where you put them. So I guess "2 springs" is correct. :thumbsup:

"2 springs" was my wording. He means 2 spring center valves.

I would ask if you come get at least one with float. There are times that comes in handy.

He told me the factory kit doesn't have a float. I just had him order a kit with 2 spring center valves.

You don't need float. Your draft control provides float.

Most of the time you would not need float anyway. I had to add it to my Branson to allow my ditch bank flail mower to follow the ground. Sometimes it is nice to let the top link float as well. Rare though.

I'm not too worried about not having it. Its funny the salesman at the dealer talked me into not getting the rear remotes when I purchased the tractor. I wish I had just added them back then.
