Rear Remotes and Power Beyond - JD4052R

I am contemplating the purchase a Deere 4052R -- with about 25% more HP than current tractor.
Presently I have 3rd function hydraulics for my loader and that serves as one rear remote when not using my grapple.
I also have power beyond for my Log Splitter. I would like one additional rear remote on the new tractor.

I will include the Third SCV for the grapple in my configuration. Now, if I purchase 4th and 5th Selective Control Valve Kit, can one of those be continuous flow and avoid purchasing Power Beyond Kit for the log splitter? The factory installed power beyond adds $426 (list price)

Do you want an SCV for the grapple? You'll have to move your hand from the joystick to the lever to open or close the grapple. A third function would have the switch on the joystick.

Instead of power beyond, you can get an SCV with a detent to run the log splitter. I don't know Deere prices but on a Kubota adding a detent to a valve is a lot less than 426. An extra valve with detent would be about the same price.

Yes - Third function will be on the joystick. 4th and 5th will be lever operated.
My log splitter already has valve - needs continuous supply which is currently supplied by Power Beyond.
Can one of the lever operated substitute for the Power Beyond hydraulics to supply fluid to log splitter?

A SCV with a detent so it stays open can be used to run a log splitter. It's like using a bungee cord to keep a regular spring to center SCV open only it's designed to stay open.
You should check that the valve flows more than the tractor's aux system flow so it's not restricting flow to the splitter.
