Rear SCV on 2520

Hi all, I am thinking about adding a SCV to my 2520 for rear remotes or a HTL. Has anybody installed one bolted in it's side to the outside of the ROPS? It looks like this will put the control right beside the cupholder. Anybody do this and have pics to post?

Not sure just what you have in mind, but hope it works out for you.

Is this a Deere kit, or are you picking up parts here and there to assemble something?

I am follow the instructions by jimgerkin in the thread "adding power beyond, 3 spool control valve and T-N-T". I am just going to use a 2 spool or a single. I am also thinking of changing the location of the valve to the outside of the ROPS because I am a taller guy and the seat is already a but cramped.

Added 2 remotes using a compact loader valve from Surplus Center. Plugged into the power beyond. I used it for chute rotation and deflection on my snowblower.

Here's some pics of my setup. When I had this installed at the dealer, they installed it on the inside of the rops and it sat straight like it come from the maufacturer. It was so bad that when I sat in the seat, it was darn near in my lap. So I took it and moved it to the outside of the rops. That was better but was not in a comfortable operating postion. I took everything loose and cut the valve mounting plate loose from the arm, turned it on an angle, then rewelded it on and reinstalled everything. Now granted it does stick out to the side a bit, which some people might not like, but it works for me. The only complaint I have on mine is that the hydraulic lines get in the way of the 3PH control when in the full up position, but I didn't want to pay for another set of lines to reroute them to a better location. Hope this helps.

Awesome. That helps lots. The valve I was looking at has the levers out the front horizontally i was thinking of mounting a little further back and running the hoses around the outside of the rops. I was considering hard piping with 3/8" stainless swedgelock tubing for a cleaner less bulky look.
