I just picked up a set of turf tires and rims for my L5740 and when I went to put the rears on, I was left with only about 1/4" of space between the tire and the cab post.

I don't think that's enough.

I searched for some spacers, but didn't find anything made for my tractor. I will probably have a local machine shop make me some, and find some longer lug bolts. I'm thinking a 1/2" spacer would be enough.

One issue is that 2 of the bolts that hold the wheel on, are studs sticking out with a nut and lock washer, and 6 are bolts that screw in. The studs have about 1/2" sticking out of the back of the hub, but how can I move them so that I get more threads to put my spacer on?

Does anyone have any experience with this issue?

I bought the factory spacers for my B3030 because I didn't have enough room to add chains for winter use. The minimum width was 1.5". I think you should see what the Kubota offers before making any custom spacers. If I remember correctly, I paid about $325 for the pair. Here some pics of the before and after.

I have searched through Kubota Whole Goods price lists and can't find any spacers for my tractor. These tires and rims came off of a MX5000. I'm not 100% certain they are supposed to fit my tractor. All the lugs line up, and the center hole is the same, and the fronts fit well......The only issue is the spacing.

I really doubt that Kubota has anything for this, but I wanted to post the question here before having something custom made.

For my spacers on the B3030, I ordered them through my Kubota salesman. The parts counter man thought that I was talkin Martian when I inquired about spacers.

I had some spacers made at a local machine shop. We went with 3/4" thick and it was just enough. Probably should have used 1"

You can see the clearance now is just about as wide as an ink pen.

Do you have the wheels installed in their widest configuration? There are several ways to assemble the rear rims and centers to give different widths.

This company quoted me a set for the front of my L3940. Kubota John Deere Compact Tractor Utility Vehicle Wheel Spacers. Price was $335 for the front pair or spacers, fasteners, and shipping. Philip.

I searched the internet, and could not find any spacers for my L5740. And it was easy for my machine shop to just make some up.

As far as I can tell, there is only one way to install these rims

Are the spacers made out of regular steel and not painted? If so I would probably pull the wheels back off and add a good coating of anti seize, might prevent so problems getting the wheels off in the future.
