Hello guys I'm not real good on wiring or electrical stuff but I have a work light on my foldable ropes love it for low light work. We quit working tonight so I thought bulb took out bulb looked good? So I changed any ways nothing it has its own switch but tractor key has to be on. It's from the factory L3830 so pulled bulb again took tester got juice to bulb assembly (where bulb plugs in.) any help? Really like this set up in not I'm going to cut wires and put in a LED light but really like the factory one ok thanks

Not sure I understand... are you saying you have electricity at the bulb socket, or not?

When you say that you had juice, how many volts? If you didn't have 12 volts, then why?

Make certain the electrical contacts inside the socket for the bulb are not pulled back too far from something pulling on the wiring.

You can have a good bulb, power to the lamp, but the bulb cannot reach the contacts because the spring that pushes them as you install the bulb is compressed by something which pulled on the external wiring.

If you can find the fuse for the light, or I remember you said it was dead with the key off, then try pushing on the bulb contact at the bottom of the socket. You should feel it move under some pressure but then rebound when there is not pressure.
