Yanmar 2610D
Hi, my first post is a question. Where can I get the seals to rebuild the hydraulic lift cylinder on the loader on my Yanmar 2610D, loader is VTEKS V3A? I think they
are metric. Thank you, Rocky

I'm not sure someone who has to ask questions like that should undertake the rebuild. If I wanted a hydraulic cylinder rebuilt I'd take it to a local hydraulic shop. They have the tools, the parts, and the expertise. A man has to know his limitations.

Replacing seals is not that hard actually, plus you'll never get to learn anything unless you actually get your hands dirty.

The man just asked where he could get the seals. My suggestion is to take the old ones out, go to a hydraulic shop and get new ones. Quite often, it's cheaper than a OEM seal kit, at least on this side of the pond. I don't think you'll have an easy time trying to locate a OEM seal kit for those cylinders.

Thank you for your post. I agree with you, as I had already disassembled it and spent 3 hours in the hydraulic shop, the largest shop in the 7th largest city in the nation. They couldn't order those metric seals, hence my question about where to order those seals. As he stated, a man should know his limitations. Perhaps those could be to not pontificate about people he doesn't know.

Most cylinders are metric nowadays. I'm very surprised that they can't find any metric seals, or may be they just don't want bother with it...

I can't really help you with places to get the seals because I'm from another continent. Here, I could suggest you 5 hydraulic shops in a 10 miles radius that would easily get your seals at very good prices.

Maybe try contacting Motion Industries. It's the only one that comes to mind.
