Back in the end of the summer my old Taarup 1650 disc mower seized and stalled my tractor half way through cutting a 8ac field.
I haven’t had the time or money to tear into it yet but I’m assuming it’s bearings in the cutter bar seized? Assuming I can even get the parts, from peoples experience is it worth trying to rebuild it or just send it to the scrap heap and buy another?
I’ve only got $150 that I bought the mower for into it, and it’s done me for a few seasons now - just looking for past experiences to let me know if it’s worth the time and money to look into it?
