Canopy Recommend a Canopy

I've had it with the sunburns. Can anyone recommend a reputable dealer to buy a canopy from?
I have an 86 Ford 3910 with I think is a factory ROPS.
Does anyone make a canopy that can be used as a platform to stand on? Safety Police, please don't beat me up but if that's a stupid idea, tell me.

I have a FOPS canopy. It was made by a company in Texas called the Perry Company. They make/made various sized canopies that are/were sized for factory brand ROPS. I believe they are now called the Jodale-Perry company. It appears to be pretty sturdy, but I have not tried to stand on mine (I do not like heights ). Jay

I bought a canopy from these guys and it is very nice.

Wells Ag Tractor Canopies Insulated Steel or Aluminum Canopies

I wouldn't stand on it but it would be strong enough.

I've mentioned many times that the canopy on my B2710 was from Wells Ag Company. I've not seen any that I liked better.

I don't know what they charge for shipping because I picked up mine.
Got the tip from Bindian and I am very happy with the canopy. You may be able to stand on their FOPS model.

What are prices running for the perry co and wells ag canopies? They look like nice units. For my two cents I wouldn't stand on the canopy

I went and ordered from Wells Ag. It was $30-150 less expensive than the Perry models. The estimate is about $380.00, I'lll have an exact invoice in my Email box tonight. Also the Wells is almost twice as thick and is insulated. I was looking at the aluminum models.

Something odd I noticed. The Perry company is located in Waco, TX. The Wells number is in Huntsville, AL but my canopy is going to be shipped from Waco, the main facility.
Are they somehow the same company?

Tororider, I haven't checked prices in a long time, but when I bought my B2710 in August, 1999, I had the Kubota dealer install the Wells Ag canopy before delivery. At that time, the price was $295 which was about $50 less than the plastic or fiberglass Kubota canopy. I got the steel canopy painted to match the tractor, but the dealer said it was the same price if I wanted the unpainted diamond plate aluminum.

Sunspot, you may notice on the Wells Ag Company website that they are located in Elm Mott, TX, which is just north of Waco. I stopped in to visit with them one day 7 or 8 years ago. That street address is the northbound service or access road of I-35 just south of F.M. 308.
