I have a back tyre with a slow leak and I was looking at getting some liquid sealant. I first heard of Slime then read a lot of bad stuff about it. A few people gave UltraSeal a good rap.

So I would be ingteretsed in people's ideas, and if UltraSeal is any good, I would like to source it in Australia.

Thanks for any help

Nick;

I have had good luck with slow leaks using the stuff mountain bikers use. They are fairly fussy about flat tires. Here's some stuff sourced in Oz that is recommended even for tractors.

Found it at another store, though.

Just one question, if I may. One of the things that went in Ultraseal's favour was that it lasted the life of the tyre, and not just a few months, or maybe a year or so, before something else had to be done. What about Stan's? Any idea how long it stays effective?

OK. Interesting. Still can't find any in Aust :(. Guess I will just have to take it on the chin and pay the Aus$70 or so freight. Still if it's as good as people are saying......
