recommended auto block heaters??

hey all --

i have a 1987 land cruiser with 240K miles on her, and she's carburated.

the truck runs great in the summer, and starts fine, but the winters are a mess.

any advice on block / engine heaters?

i'm curious which ones you've had that have worked, and would like an easy install.

Eric, I don't think you need a block heater, I'd see about an electric choke for the carb.

ps. Did you hear that Robert fell off a roof and had back surgery.

-- i didn't hear he fell off the roof -- ouch -- i hope is recovery is speedy --

also, i'll check with the mechanic about the carb -- maybe she's due for a re-build --

i had a good yield on the 320 trees planted -- around 90% -- a lot of watering, i tell you!

i am on a green giant arborvitae kick now -- i can't get enough of them -- !!

Eric watch those Arborvitae they are deer candy. If you don't protect them, the deer will eat everything up to about 6'.
