thank you!!! the kobota dealer in my area said the parts are no longer available,i guess the experts are not very reliable,again thank you

It still may be the case that it is no longer available. If you cannot find one you may have to find something else close and change connectors or something to make it work.
You may get a hold of a alternator/starter rebuilder in your area and see if they can work something up. You need to find out why it went, is it overloaded or a short in the system or bad battery.
