Anyone have any experience with the Red Devil brand of snow blowers?
Information I found here indicates that the company was bought in October, and is under new management.

Fleabay has a bunch of them for what looks to be very cheap, so I've been considering one.

I've been watching local adds for two months now, and the few units the right size being sold are asking more than I can get one of the RD units for brand new.

I suspect they are a little light weight- 536# for a 60" unit is less steel than others. But I want to adapt it to be a loader-mount self-contained unit this summer, so the lighter weight is a plus for me. I take good care of my equipment, so unless it's made of tinfoil it should be good enough for my uses.

Anyone own one, and would you buy one again?

I emailed yesterday then called the manufacturer today to find a local dealer, but the people I talked to didn't know who the dealers were, and the sales people could not be bothered to call or email me. Guess maybe they think they are off-season, and can take it easy.

I don't know anything about the quality or reputation of RD, but the price is about in line with the 60" Buhler Farm King that I bought new last winter.
