Red dual wheel PT spotted off of I-87 upstate ny

On June 20th I was heading south down to the Albany Airport and at about exit 7 or 8 on the right I spotted out of the corner of my eye a dual wheel red PT cutting grass on the side of the interstate which we locals call the "northway". Too bad traffic was moving fast and I had to catch a flight. This is the first PT that I have spotted other than the original that I saw at our factory (which was my introduction to the PT's).

It must be owned by the department of transportation and looked like one of the model 18xx units.

Where in upstate NY do you live? The reference to the Northway made me wonder if I was once close to you. I lived in Glens Falls briefly, about 4-5 years ago.

Here in South Bend there is a local landscaper with a PT425. This morning, I see them tooling around on a job site outside my window with what appears to be a 1430. It looks dirty and abused, the way they should be. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
