Ballast red neck tractor weights

been searching for front end tractor weights for my ym 240. so i had a bain storm and came up with this little idea. surprisingly effective. really made my little tractor feel more stable going up hills with bushog on it. it was wheels in the air, but now it is mauverable and the steering is still very light. i call it my red

neck tractor weights:thumbsup:

this worked well for me on an old Sears SS12. The rears are dual with one pair loaded and the other pair has weights. It has surprising amount of power and it flipped over on me bow over stern once so I welded a weight lifting bar to a front bracket and add weights as needed. Pretty Red Neck in my opinion

Looks like my rear weights for my Bolens except the holes are filled on mine.

I tried using cast blocks like that on my box blade for extra weight and I found that they soon cracked and fell apart. Hopefully yours will fare better.

the blocks were left over from a job. i think the weight bar is awesome on your sears tractor.:thumbsup: and i have had one block fatality but it was already cracked, but had a replacement for it. thanks for compliments. hoping it would spark an idea or two. hp.
