003.jpg003.jpg002.jpglast night I cut up a 30 foot boat to get the motor and trailer for scrap as the trailer was rusted out and the motor was locked up.the motor with part of small trans was hevier than i thought so I had to add ballast to the front I took a large piece of heavy c steel and welded it to some square tube and it still wasnt enough weight so I added a log the front end was still to lite to steer corectly s I lifted the little bar that locks the brakes together apart and steered with brakes. theres also a crappy pic of boom I made and the motor . sheesh I hate cutting fiberglass it gets all over you and itches like ****.this load will get enough money t buy that bushhog a guy has for sale.

The log reminds me of the wooden bumpers people used to put on their hippie vans.

I like that log ballast...it got the job done. And I've steered with brakes on more than one occasion.

stuckmotor, I never got into the wooden bumpers but do remember my buddy putting double 4X4's on a blazer once. And then painted 'shroons on them...lol.

boxorox, you paid 250.00 for that tractor? I hate to see people taken advantage of. I'll be down this afternoon to bail you out of this one if you want. I'll take it off your hands so you can sleep at night...lol.

Where are all the deals when I need something? But I did buy a complete Pa Panzer garden tractor for 30.00 off of a scrap trailer headed to the shredder a couple months back. Scrap would have brought him 60.00 with the weight of it so I guess I did get somewhat lucky.

boxorox, build you a trailer mover hitch out of an old reese hitch then build your middle buster on a piece of 2X2 tubing to work out of your hitch. To get the downshaft for the middle buster you need to get 1 shank off of an old tracter cultivater. Mine has the angle adjustment feature and I can switch out what style plow/sweep I want to use.

only one thing left to do is have alternater repaired as it doesnt charge very good. I would have to say I was blessed on this deal he just called me and told me he had an old box blade that was to big for his kubota if he locates I can have it for 50$ so Im gonna jump n that. thanks for the Idea I might go that route as I can put other things in that reese receiver tube.

box, so far i have 4 different styles of rakes i built, 2 smaller/shorter boom poles, 4 different styles of plows/cultivators, a high tensil fence wire spool, a carry all, and all of this works off of that trailer mover hitch.

I also have an old Cole planter (mule drawn) that I plan on converting to work off of it too. I have all the plates for it or it wouldn't be worth my time.

Small tractors like you have (I have one too for gardening) are considered 1 row tractors. Converting old mule style farm equipment works well. You just got a Iron mule.

Yaeh Im through working on those craftsman for now so I can start working n other stuff . ps it is small cmpared to the big farm tractors but its alot bigger than the bx22oo my father has this is a 36hp tractor Im told any way I love it and am building a few toys for it. On the craftsman riders I was fixing the steering as when you turn the steering wheel it clicks well I got them apart and the sleeve the shaft with the gear slid into was plastic so I am just going to make some out of steel pipe. after that its tractor time..
