Redundant safety fasteners on ROPS nessasary?

Paul, that accident occured just a few miles upriver from my home on the River Road. For years afterwards we kept finding many relics from the accident washed up on shore.

I failed to see where the Captain Modified the ROPS on the Ferry

Corporate manager's way of thinking, says: He must have modified the ROPS (run over protection system) or else he wouldn't have been run over

pessimist says: the glass is half empty.
optimist says: the glass is half full.
manager says: the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

To jsborn...if his ROPS had been up...OBVIOUSLY they would have survived... ...But seriously, tragedies strike everywhere, which is why one must remain vigilant...
