Here is my 214 with a fresh paint job, all done with rattle cans! Paint is genuine John Deere paint from the dealership, ag green. I have yellow for the rims, but havent gotten to them yet. All I did was remove the hood, grill support and fender deck, mask the decals and respray on a 50' day. Then left the metal to dry in the sun for 3-5 hours. It was dry enough to reassemble the tractor late that afternoon. This series is what I consider the last "good" lower priced tractors from JD. The 200 series will run circles around the new stuff from JD and the old plastic is the dash panel and shift knobs. Cheers Mike

Nice!

The little strobe light is a nice addition. A little bit of black rustoleum spray paint would touch up the rear hitch area and the back of the seat.

It needs a JD aftermarket stick on "soda can holder" and a fire extinguisher mounted to the right rear fender.

Something that I really like is a set of 50 watt flood lights that I mounted front and rear on an LX188.

Looks Great! My 322 could use the same treatment. Well Done.
