Refurbishing/cleaning/painting a brush hog

Well today I got the skid plates painted and reinstalled and also rebuilt the rear side chain guards. I rebuilt the slip clutch as well, one of the friction discs fell off in pieces :shocked:
Now the only part left is to finish repainting the gearbox shields and then it's back into service


-dieselscout80- I pull this cutter with a L5030HSTC, its a 50 horse and I have absolutely no problems. In the manual for the cutter, which is a Woods 208-2, they recommend 40-80hp for the pulled model.

Well after about a week and a half of working on it on and off, it is done. I finished cleaning and repainting the pto shields yesterday. And then gave it a quick spin just for grins. The area I cut wasn't very tall or thick, it was part of the area I originally cleared when I first got it. So it was tall and thick then, but just had two weeks worth of growth since then. But either this week or next I'll haul to the other property that is ~90acres and cut it, also take the box blade and do some dirt work. Thanks again for following along.
