Well, I knew it was coming... but it always seems to arrive at the most inconvenient time. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
Today, it was finally dry enough to mow, so I fired up the Murray and the Craftsman, did the ditches, along the fence line and creek and around the pond and the house.
Then got out big blue to mow the rest of my 5 acres... only mowed about 1/2 hour when the temp gauge started climbing... too high!
I've onwed this tractor for 10+ years and when I bought it, the radiator had some damage where the previous owner had let a bad battery corode the radiator. It finally gave up the fight today, so I just ordered a new radiator, water pump and hoses... $425 all together. {sigh}
Sure am glad the Craftsman is such a good mower, I used it to finish up the front half of my place so only have about 1 acre left to mow... tomorrow.
