Well while I was pulling up old fence posts and filling in low spots near the barn, I tried out the fine cut belly on some thick pasture grass-ver impressed. Granted they are new blades, but the grass was dead and almost a foot. Not a problem. The bx feels a lot more agile than my gt225 mower. I'm sure part of that is due to the power steering and how ridiculously sharp the wheels turn. 2days and 6 hours of seat time and have burned 1/4 tank!
