I have a huge carport shed/cover that is 20' wide and 40' long. Each steel post is 2 1/2" square and has a small concrete footer. I'm moving this shed to another location on my property and pouring a concrete pad. My brother suggested pouring the concrete pad with steel tubes sticking up about 12" and then slide the shed tubes over them and anchor them with a bolt through each post. My thought was reassembling the shed then pouring the pad to ensure everything is square and fitted properly. Any thoughts or other ideas on this?
