Relocating to NW Louisiana

Looks like the wife is getting an assignment Shreveport area of Louisiana this summer. We're looking to find a place to rent that has a few acres for fenced and suitable for a couple of mules. If anyone knows of someone wanting to rent to a us, drop me a private note. Figure something within 30 minutes drive to Barksdale would be great.

Welcome to the area. Not far from Shreveport here. Sorry, I'm not aware of any spots for rent. You might want to check Craigslist though. Sometimes in the farm/garden section folks advertise "farms" or "ranches" for rent. The real estate section also lists them but you have to weed out the city dwellings.

Good suggestion on looking at craigslist. Since we have plenty of time, figured putting the word out might turn something up. You just never know.

Are you on facebook? You might try friending some of the local realtors and business's in the area. I get messages on facebook from them all the time of local properties for rent.

LOL, no I tried one time and even my daughter didn't friend me! But good suggestion.
