Any one know of a website that sells remanufactured radiators?? My MC35 has a leak that doesn't look like it can be fixed. New Holland wants $1175 for a new one. Must have gold somewhere in the core. TIA

Do you have a local radiator shop that could confirm it can't be repaired?

There a lots of reman radiator sites on the internet, but most of the ones I have seen are for cars and trucks, not commercial mowers.

If it is an ' old style ... brass construction type ', it can be repaired at a radiator shop. If said shops still exist. Back in old times, it was fairly common to have to pull your radiator or heater core out and either fix it yourself... or take it in to a profession shop. They can even recore it if necessary. The newer type radiators are usually aluminum and plastic.. They had some growing pains when they switched over to the non-brass radiators.. but the aluminum holds up better against road salt than the brass.

Took it to another radiator shop and they attempted the repair. Will see if it works. I sure don't want to spend $1175!!

Where is the leak? Is it alum, or plastic headers? Might be able to fit a different radiator in the same space.

A local Rad "guy" simply cut the bad section out of my rad. I wasn't impressed. I could have done that too!

Bought a new factory radiator for my NH a couple years ago because I hoped for best quality. A few months into it I thought I saw some green discoloration on the back side in the middle but decided it must be my paranoia. 71/2 months into it leak became obvious. Took it to NH dealer I bought it from. They contacted factory who said "too bad it only has a 6 mth warranty. See ya". I was pretty pissed off and wrote factory who said we ran it by the board and "they" said TOO BAD also. I really didn't believe the whole "took it to the board" thing by the way. Ended up buying another factory radiator because I needed it now.
Long winded but my point is I could not have done worse if I had used a reman radiator. Just couldn't find one quick enough. Good luck with yours.

The second shop repaired it and it is working fine...at least for now. Keeping my fingers crossed.
