Large Kubota cab tractor obscures view of bucket or attachments when near the ground - where you really need to see operations. Does anyone have experience using rear-view or front-view automotive type remote cameras and 7" remote screen to solve this problem? Requires "real" image looking forward, not "mirror" image.
============================================================================================
I have the Cab Cam front and rear mounted heated(thermostat controlled)cameras that
are hard wired and I love them because they are so simple to use and program.
The cab cams have an on screen scale gauge with a red stop line which is a must for
backing to hitch up my dump trailer.
The monitors are very easy to use and the systems also have a wireless
remote control to use as well which is standard equipment at no extra charge.
You can purchase a wireless remote camera system from them too.
The systems support up to 8 cameras if needed.
All you would have to do is decide where to mount it after having someone in the cab watching
the remote feed while the other person has the camera in their hand.
The camera if equipped with the shutter should be placed where it can operate without being
damaged by a falling object or have a spot where a piece of channel iron can be welded on
the frame of the loaders forklift attachment or for that matter mounting it on the engine hood
would be even better to protect it as the loaders arc of movement would reduce the chance of
it being damaged by something falling over the top edge of the bucket..
I have had the cameras for almost four years now and I will never be without them again!!!!!!!!!!!!
