Remote Hydraulics Yanmar 336

   / Remote Hydraulics Yanmar 336 #11
Just to clarify, power beyond is a feature of a valve, not of the tractor. When adding on to a Yanmar system, all aux valves must be power beyond as indicated in the manual shown in post 1. These valves have 5 ports compared to 4 on a regular open center valve, the extra being the power beyond port (also known as high pressure carry over), which is designed to pass hydraulic pressure, where an open center valve is not (usually rated around 500psi or less on the tank port). If an open center valve where used and the 3ph operated with a load, the open center valve could burst.

Also as shown in post 1, the divider block is simply a way to tap into the hydraulics without cutting hard lines. It is put there for a factory loader install. Instead of fluid passing directly through the block into the 3ph valve, it passes out 1 of the removed plugs, into the loader valve inlet, out the loader valve power beyond into the other removed plug, and finally back to the 3ph, which then is a true open center valve with flow out of it to the tank. The little plug you install in the block separates the ports.

All of the tank or outlet ports of the aux valves must be joined together at the tank connection with a tee.
