Kubota L3400
Since I'm in the market for a new tractor I want to get the basics down so that adding stuff later won't be difficult. I am looking seriously at the L3400 with a woods loader and BH. I told the dealer that I eventually want to run a Top & Tilt for a box blade and a 3pt log splitter. He told me I could run these from the FEL joystick (With the FEL removed) in place of rear remotes. Is this fact. I'm an electronics guy and just a hydraulics hacker. I don't want to buy what i don't really need but I would like to work remotes in the deal if they're necessary. BTW after reading forums I won't be getting the Kubota T&T.

I would recommend getting three.
1. Top link.
2. Side link
3. Whatever else that you may want in the future like hyd scarfiers on a BB.
Mine are run off the side of the hyd block under the r/h step just fwd of the hyd filter, there are two lines, press/return and the bypass line goes to the hyd fill port.

I personally wouldn't want my tractor set up that way.( needing to remove the loader to use my top/tilt)
Quite often I'm using the loader to move material to where I'm doing the grading that I'm using the top & tilt.
You want to be able to use both together, not one or the other. My opinion.
I recommend the rear remotes

Definitively the remotes. IMHO and as others said, you should keep your FEL valve to control the FEL. It's a bit more expensive that way but you won't regret it afterward that's for sure.

As you mention, you want to use the TnT with a boxblade... if you use your FEL valve to control the boxblade without loader, how will you move the material you need if you don't have your loader on?

If your plan is to use only a log splitter then maybe you could go for the FEL valve option, but I really don't like that idea.
