After dropping the BH for the first time 2 weeks ago, we remounted it today. Key word is "We". After reading all the posts (and horror stories) it only took 10 minutes! My dad was on the 1920 and I was operating the boom and stabilizers. I couldn't imagine doing this by yourself, you would have to get on and off the tractor multiple times. Thanks for all the tips, Bill C

Bill I will be the first to admit that it is much quicker to drop a backhoe than it is to remount one. The first time I remounted the 757C on my TC-40D it took me over an hour and 20 minutes by myself to get it lined up so that the tractor would mate with it.

I now have a system where once my hydraulic top link has been removed I can mount the backhoe by myself in roughly 15 minutes. I park it on two furniture dollies so it can be moved and repositioned in my pole barn fairly easy. I also think the more times that you remount yours the more proficient you will become. Good luck to you.
