Removal of stump jumper on Lowery Andy 500 bush hog

I have wedged the stump jumper and pounded 'til me blue eyes have turned bloodshot, can't get that part off to get at the blades. I heated the threaded shaft, pounded some more. No dice, she ain't comin' off.

Any other ideas I might try? This tapered spline is rusted on hard, can't seem to catch a break.

On my deck there is a hole in the top of the deck to give access to the blade bolt so that the blades can be changed without taking the SJ off. Once when I tried to take my SJ off and I couldn't budge it either.

If you do have to remove the stump jumper, you might try removing the nut holding it on, then remove the washers, then put the nut back on part way, to catch it if it falls down to the nut. Then try running the pto, first slowly, starting and stopping, trying to jar it loose. If you see it has come down to the nut, it is loose and ready to fall off when the nut is removed. This way, you might be able to cause the needed vibration for it to come loose. If the above does not work, find a small stump for it to slap on. That should cause considerable vibration. BUT I WOULD KEEP RPM's LOW.
