Hi All,
I've been lurking on this forum for years and have been able to search and find answers to all of my questions. But after searching here and googling I can't seem to find out how to remove the control lever knobs for Range selector lever, PTO lever and 4x4 lever. I'm adding some lights LED light to the ROPS and I want to drill 2 holes for the switches in that control panel. It would be a lot easier to wire the switches with the control panel removed.
Thanks much and I hope y'all had a Merry Christmas!

I have a red TC40.:D

Maybe not all tractors are alike but on mine the plastic knob is pressed onto the lever shaft.
The shaft is flat steel with some teeth that grab the knob from the inside.
They probably simply press fit the knobs on.
Knob is plastic therefore heat would soften it and U could probably pry it off.

Similar thing on my Kioti FEL knob. I thought I could remove it to replace it with a clamshell type joystick, and nothing I tried would get it loose. I ended up having to cut it off. The press on to a knurled metal shaft knobs are IMHO, once and done. You want them off, you're likely going to have to destroy them.:confused3:

There is no easy way . You will need a sawzall , cutoff wheel , dynamite . Plan on getting new ones . By the way , Hello neighbor .

Thanks for the input guys! I think I will go with plan B and disconnect the pivot pin and remove the linkages. That will give me the access I need, I was just being lazy.

Hi neighbor! I'm really liking the wind and rain we are getting vs wind and snow we could have. :frosty:

Sorry to read Jinman's passing.

I'll post some pics when I get the switches and lights installed....pics or it didn't happen!
