Does anyone have any tips on removing the axle seal on a MF 165 or similar tractor?

This is from the book see Fig.3 it is a special tool

Thank you for taking the time to post the info from the manual. It is much appreciated.
I ended up using a slide hammer puller and it worked really well in removing the axle seal.
