I know this is a pretty unlikely scenario for others, but a rock seems to have put a small hole in my mid pto shaft cover/housing. The housing appears to cover and also house the mid pto. I've removed the bolts but before i use a mallet to try and loosen the gasket, I thought I would ask. Just in case anyone has a repair manual or has been in there. Not sure if the mid pto gear ring just comes neatly away with the housing or if I'm into a can of worms. Online parts diagram doesn't really tell me much.
