Hi all,
My TD80D has a badly leaking power steering hydraulic ram. Due to our location it must be removed and taken away for repair.
Whats the process for removing the body end pin as it seems to be deeply embedded in the frame and I cant imagine that its a circlip.
Dave from Papua New Guinea.

Can you take a photo or two and post it?

Exploded Views are Great. Thanks R Neumann.
Ive just saved the URL.
Here are some pictures.
I have no issue with the Wheel side, thats just a circlip.
Im sorry the picture is not perfect but i need to know if there is a circlip on the inside, or, because there is a locking bolt on top, thats all there is and I can just bash it out!

R Neumann.
Attached snip from what you have sent me looks accurate.
If you have a look at part 12 it just looks like I could bash the pin out now that I have removed the locking bolt and washer.
Whilst the picture is upside down, part 12 looks like its only a washer.
Your opinion?Capture.JPG

It looks to me like 7 is a zerk grease fitting and if 9 and 10 (bolt and washer?) are removed the sleeve 11 should slide out. You may need to pry between the cylinder end and the axle housing to get 11 to move. Especially is it hasn’t had grease in a while.

I don’t understand part 12 unless it’s some type of cap.

Your photo 2 of 6 makes it look like the exploded view is upside down. That looks like part 11........?

It looks to me like the bolt on the wheel end, parts 4,5,6 need to come off. That may give you another option to remove part 11 and or the ram.

What are they calling #12. A little trick I use to get pins out is to use a air chisel with flat end.
